Iron Maiden plan a film in concert on coming DVD

Metal legends Iron Maiden on their forthcoming South American tour, they plan in a few concert to film an coming DVD.

Chile's Foreign Minister Futuro 88.9 Bassist Steve Harris said the band will film April 8, and 10 of them shows in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Santiago, Chile, respectively, according to BraveWords.com.

Harris said, “Chileans and Argentines have been a great strength for us, and now we want to show the public more of those parts. We had already recorded there for the movie, Flight 666, but only one song per country. Now we’ll show the public much more of Chile and Argentina. Wherever we go, we always wondered what the best groups in the world were, and we thought South America, Chile, Argentina and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Now we can show it.”

Clearly that part of the world means something special to the Maiden groups.

He said, “I always thought that if we could take the public with us, it would be to those countries. The rest of the fans in the world can see how they react to the Chileans and Argentines, and will have something to draw from.”

Harris said the new DVD to prepare those responsible are those who on the "Flight 666" are working.

He said, “I have always been involved in the production and direction of our live shows, but now working with a very good company, the guys who made the documentary Flight 666. It is they who are responsible for recording the shows, so for me at least, is a great relief.”

Iron Maiden at the Sydney Entertainment Centre

Iron Maiden in their heavy metal across Oz alongside an amazing show which held at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.

Triple M's Becko was there to witness the metal madness. After the show he ranted, "Iron Maiden, what can you say?? Old school heavy metal at its best".

"Opening the show with an amazing animation warm-up for their opening track, Final Frontier the gods went off with a bang. In between fetching beers for my rocker mate who was my plus 1, I enjoyed a lesson in heavy metal, and looking around me, the old school fans of Iron Maiden were… very happy with it – great mullets too!

In a special treat for all you Maiden fans out there, Becko managed to get backstage and he brought his camera with him.

He continue, "This video was taken outside [drummer] Nicko’s [McBrain] dressing room. I wonder if he gets a roadie or a groupie to ‘warm up’ the drum kit… hmmmmm."

Iron Maiden song Fear of the Dark - Video N Lyrics

Iron Maiden song Fear of the Dark - lyrics

I am the man who walks alone
And when I'm walking a dark road
At night or strolling through the park

When the light begins to change
I sometimes feel a little strange
A little anxious when it's dark

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have constant fear that something's
always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone's
always there

Have you run your fingers down
the wall
And have you felt your neck skin crawl
When you're searching for the light?
Sometimes when you're scared
to take a look
At the corner of the room
You've sensed that something's
watching you

Have you ever been alone at night
Thought you heard footsteps behind
And turned around and no one's there?
And as you quicken up your pace
You find it hard to look again
Because you're sure there's
someone there

Watching horror films the night before
Debating witches and folklore
The unknown troubles on your mind
Maybe your mind is playing tricks
You sense, and suddenly eyes fix
On dancing shadows from behind

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have constant fear that something's
always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone's
always there
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have constant fear that something's
always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone's
always there

When I'm walking a dark road
I am the man who walks alone
